Managing Orders
Once you are logged in to your account, click on the ‘Live Orders’ tab in your dashboard.
Click on ‘Live Screen’ once the page loads, and you will see all of your live orders, in the order in which they have been received (the most recent order will be at the top).
Here you can view all of the details of each order including the order number, customer details, service and order status. You can also manage all of your orders here.
What to do when an order is made?
To check current and past Order: On the “Live order Manager” Screen, when you click on an order number you can see at the top in red which is the outstanding balance, in green what was paid and in yellow what tip was given. These will all be shown on your printed receipt as well.
Below in the open order, you can see what was ordered, promotion applied and any notes given upon making the order- so these will be specific allergens or ingredients asked to not be included in the meal.
If you scroll down to payments (which will always be open) you can see details like when it was placed, if it has been paid, who paid for it, the balance, tip and whether or not it was refunded.
For incoming orders: make sure you are on the “Live Screen”, if you are on the “Order Live Manager Screen”, go to the left top corner where it says manager, click it and switch to “full receipt”.
All new orders will make a “Ding Ding” noise signaling there is a new order.
On the screen it will show you the service type at the top, room or table number and the items underneath. This will also include Notes for allergens etc.
The different stages of order preparation:
This is what the customer will see:
On there will be their order and a loading bar to show the different stages their order is going through.
On your Full Receipt page click “Prepare all” to communicate with your clients that it is being made.
Click “Ready all” to communicate that it is ready.
To clear the screen on your end click “finish all” and you will be left with a blank screen once the orders have all been completed.
Refunds- All Refunds are done through EMenu Platform
Click on the order that you need to refund, and you will see a window popup like the one below.
Click on the red ‘Refund’ button in the bottom left corner, confirm it, and the customer will receive the money back in their account within 5-10 days.
If you need to make a partial refund:
